Chattanooga, TN (October 21, 2025) — ACI Motorsports went to the Circuit of The Americas knowing everything was on the line for Juan Pablo “JP” Martinez, and came away with exactly what the team had been fighting for all season. JP delivered second and third-place finish on Saturday and Sunday during the US Grand Prix weekend to clinch the Porsche Carrera Cup North America Pro-Am championship by three points over Alan Metni.
This was a huge race weekend for ACI Motorsports with it being the championship finale at one of the biggest motorsport events in North America. Our COTA lineup consisted of:
No. 2 — Jimmy Llibre, Baldom (Pro)
No. 4 — Juan Pablo Martinez, Classic.Com (Pro-Am)
No. 6 — Alex Pratt, Goodboy Vodka (Pro)
No. 15 — Yves Baltas, Wempe (Pro)
The team warmly welcomed Alex Pratt back for his second outing with ACI this year. With Goodboy Vodka on the car and the massive crowd and media presence that comes with the US Grand Prix, the exposure was huge for the team and our partners.
From the moment we unloaded, it felt like a championship weekend; focused and with no room for mistakes. JP’s weekend was textbook: pace, consistent execution, and two podiums when it mattered most. Alan Metni pushed hard, he won both Pro-Am races on the weekend and put the pressure on us, but JP’s season-long consistency (six wins earlier in the year, his last at Road America in August) was the difference when the points were tallied.
The 2025 Porsche Carrera Cup North America season was historic with seven different drivers taking overall victories, and the series crowned multiple first-time champions. It was the final season for the current generation 911 GT3 Cup before the Type 992.2 makes its debut next year, a fittingly dramatic curtain call.
Winning a championship is the product of so many people doing their jobs perfectly: engineers, mechanics, strategists, partners, and the drivers. We’re proud of JP for staying calm under pressure and proud of the entire ACI crew for the work that put him in position to win. This title is for everyone who showed up, worked late nights, and believed we could do it.
