Long Beach Grand Prix: Poles, podiums, pressure handled.

ACI Motorsports continued its strong 2026 campaign at the iconic Grand Prix of Long Beach, fielding five entries in Porsche Carrera Cup North America competition and delivering a commanding weekend on the streets of Long Beach.

LONG BEACH, CA (April 20, 2026) — ACI Motorsports continued its strong 2026 campaign at the iconic Grand Prix of Long Beach, fielding five entries in Porsche Carrera Cup North America competition and delivering a commanding weekend on the streets of Long Beach.

The team emphasized the importance of track position from the outset, prioritizing qualifying performance and race starts, a strategy that proved critical on the tight street circuit where passing opportunities are limited.

“Really strong weekend overall in Long Beach. Getting pole and converting Race 1 from start to finish was exactly what we needed, clean execution and the car was dialed,” said Marco Cirone, Masters Class. “Race 2 was a bit more challenging after losing a position early, but we stayed in the fight, had some really good battles, and brought it home in P3. Solid points, solid momentum, and a great step forward for the championship.”

ACI Motorsports secured two pole positions, with Marco Cirone and Patrick Mulcahy each leading their respective classes to the front of the grid, setting the tone for the weekend.

From there, the team converted performance into results, capturing four podium finishes, including three class victories, in a competitive field.

Across all five entries, ACI drivers demonstrated strong pace, discipline, and race execution, reinforcing the team’s depth and continued momentum early in the season.
