ACI Motorsports celebrates a landmark weekend at Road America with Carrera Cup victories, GT4 Pro-Am success.
CHATTANOOGA, TN (August 22, 2025) — ACI Motorsports, a leading force in North American sports car racing, continued the remarkable 2025 campaign with standout performances recently at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. The Chattanooga-based team celebrated milestones across both the Porsche Carrera Cup North America and SRO Pirelli GT4 America series.
At Road America, Jimmy Llibre achieved a career milestone by claiming his first overall victory in the series, also taking Pro class honors. The 22-year-old Dominican Republic native’s Road America performance boosted a strong season tally already including:
In the Masters category, Richard Edge continued to showcase his veteran consistency, finishing second place in the Masters class at Road America. Edge’s career record now spans 70 Carrera Cup starts, with:
over the last five years with ACI Motorsports.
JP Martinez delivered a flawless performance at Road America, sweeping both Race 1 and Race 2 in the Pro-Am category in the No. 4 911 GT3 Cup. Martinez came within just one-tenth of securing pole position, further underlining his pace. This weekend’s double victory marks his second sweep of the 2025 season, building on his dominant showing at the Miami Grand Prix earlier this year.
“Our drivers have led the charge this weekend, executing with precision and determination,” said Curt Swearingin, ACI Motorsports’ Team Owner and Principal. “The strategy we implement plays a key role in the results, but it’s the dedication and skill of the entire ACI Motorsports family that truly made this the year that it has been. I couldn’t be prouder of everyone involved.”
Road America was a defining weekend for ACI’s two-car SRO GT4 America Pro-Am program. Riley Dickinson and Curt Swearingin secured their first Pro-Am class victory of the 2025 season in Race 2.
Riley also captured a pole position overall at Road America, further highlighting ACI Motorsports’ competitive edge and consistent performance throughout the weekend. Following the event, the team climbed to fourth overall in the Pro-Am Team Championship standings, leaving the final races of the season wide open for a championship push.
“What a weekend at Road America! It feels great to get our first win of the season and get some valuable points towards this championship fight,” said Riley Dickinson. “Curt drove a great opening stint which put us in the position to take advantage of a couple full course yellows after a great strategy call by Adam (Tanner) and the team. Very much looking forward to our next event at Barber Motorsports Park!”
Additionally, new additions to ACI, Dan Sibille and Loek Hartog (Netherlands), have made an impact in the Pro-Am category. Both bring extensive driving backgrounds, with Loek having significant seat time in European GT3 competition. Despite not having raced together for nearly three months and missing a previous event, they returned to the car with determination. In their first outings back with ACI, they achieved major success both on and off track, collaborating to gain positions and recently finishing a strong P4 at Road America, narrowly missing the Pro-Am podium.
“It was truly rewarding to get back into the No. 9 Porsche GT4 RS Clubsport after a brief hiatus and be able to turn in competitive lap times at Road America,” added Dan Sibille. “Loek drove some of the quickest laps during the race which set us in a position for a podium finish. The ACI Team also did an exceptional job of preparing our Porsche GT4 race cars throughout the entire race event.”
“The team did an outstanding job providing fast, reliable cars throughout,” added Loek Hartog. “We can leave with our heads held high, knowing there were no mistakes. I’m especially proud of my teammate Dan, who continues to show a steep learning curve in this competitive championship. This weekend proved that with just a few more corners of racing, we could have earned our first SRO podium.”
Formed in 2016, ACI Motorsports has built a reputation as a competitive force in North American sports car racing. The team fields Porsche GT machinery, blending experienced professionals and emerging talent, supported by a championship-caliber crew of engineers and mechanics. ACI remains committed to excellence on and off the track.
