ACI Motorsports achieved a milestone weekend at Barber Motorsports Park, capturing its first-ever GT4 America pole position and overall victory. The team’s impressive performance included multiple podium finishes and showcased the strength, strategy, and determination driving their rise in the championship.

ACI Motorsports delivered a breakthrough weekend at Barber Motorsports Park, earning its first-ever pole position in GT4 America, charging to an overall victory, and collecting multiple class podiums in one of the team’s strongest performances to date.
The weekend opened with the rescheduled Road America makeup race, run as Race 1 at Barber.
Riley Dickinson started from P4 while teammate Loek Hartog stunned the paddock by securing ACI Motorsports’ first-ever GT4 America pole position with a flying 1:28.367 lap. However, a post-qualifying technical disqualification relegated Hartog to the back of the grid in P23, setting the stage for a dramatic comeback.
At the green flag, Hartog launched a furious charge, climbing to P12 within just two laps. Dickinson fought inside the top three, briefly taking P2 in his stint. By halfway, Hartog had reached P5 overall, showcasing relentless pace.
Strategic pit calls vaulted Dickinson into the lead before handing over to Curt Swearingin, who held a commanding nine-second gap at the front. Meanwhile, Dan Clarke worked through the mid-pack traffic. When the checkered flag fell, the team sealed a Pro-Am class win and overall victory, marking a historic moment for ACI Motorsports.
Still riding the momentum from their earlier win, the team charged back into action for the weekend’s second contest. Hartog once again showed front-running pace, battling deep through the pack while Dickinson fought inside the top group. The team executed clean stops and consistent stints to collect another strong result, adding to the points haul and cementing themselves as contenders across both cars.
In the weekend’s final race, the No. 7 entry started from P5 overall with Dickinson behind the wheel. He worked his way steadily forward, even leading laps outright in a fierce fight at the front.
Swearingin took over for the closing stint and delivered a thrilling drive to the finish, coming home P2 in Pro-Am and securing a podium finish. Adding to the celebration, the team was joined on the podium by their Racing for Children’s crew chiefs, making the result even more meaningful for the entire program.
“This weekend was a breakthrough for our program,” said Team Principal and driver Curt Swearingin. “Earning Loek’s first pole with us, winning overall, and standing on multiple podiums in the same weekend shows how far this team has come.”
With momentum on their side, ACI Motorsports now turns its focus to the next GT4 America doubleheader at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, set for October 16-18, 2025, aiming to carry the Barber success into the closing rounds of the championship.
