[FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE]
[Chattanooga, TN] - ACI Motorsports is thrilled to announce its strongest-ever driver lineup for the highly anticipated 2024 SRO America season. The GT and GT4 America effort is composed of the dynamic duo of Curt Swearingin (ACI Motorsports Team owner) and Kay Van Berlo, who is a Porsche North America Selected Driver.
Van Berlo, a Dutch native and recent graduate of the University of Miami, joins ACI for his second consecutive season:
“Thrilled to continue with Curt and ACI Motorsports for another season in GT4 America.
Curt’s remarkable growth as a driver throughout last year, exemplified by his stellar qualifying lap in Dubai earlier this year, fills me with confidence for the season ahead.“
Van Berlo continued to say - “Additionally, as a team, we’ve made significant strides forward throughout last year and the winter, and I’m eager to see where our collective efforts place us this year.”
Curt Swearingin, team principal and owner of ACI Motorsports, is set to bring the heat in the highly-competitive GT America series.
Leading ACI is Curt Swearingin, 2020 Porsche GT3 Cup Champion, owner of World Racing League, and who founded the team in 2016. Swearingin is in a great position to compete for podiums, given his veteran racing skills, natural pace, and hunger to win.
“This is the busiest season I’ve ever had - I’ll be on track more than ever before and I’m really looking forward to testing myself and pushing the limits this season. The whole team is motivated, determined, and pulling together - the time we’ve put in over the off-season should pay off and hopefully we’ll find ourselves in a great position this season to be competitive.”
”SRO is really a fantastic environment and series; we’re really grateful for the opportunity to participate and contribute with their organization and hope to only add to the great thing they have going.“
